This short, 7-mile route takes you from Tilton on the Hill to Oakham, and it packs a lot into a small distance. Turn off the B6074 onto the Oakham Road and you’re straight into it: rolling Leicestershire countryside, a decent run of bends, and none of the traffic you’d expect on the bigger roads nearby.
It’s not a route that’ll take up your whole day, but that’s rather the point.
