From the A52 island near Grantham, take the B1176 to the A151 at Corby Glen, signposted Old Somerby and Bourne. It’s an easy road to find and an even easier one to enjoy, taking you straight out of the roundabout traffic and into quiet Lincolnshire countryside.
The route rolls through a string of small villages, with plenty of gentle bends and open stretches in between to keep things interesting without ever getting technical.
Why it’s worth a ride
This is a good one to have in the back pocket, close enough to Grantham for a quick blast, but with enough distance and variety to feel like a proper ride out. It also links up nicely if you fancy continuing on towards Bourne afterwards.
A solid, no-fuss route worth knowing if you’re in the area.
