Hank purchased his lovely red Honda VFR800 in July 1999 and over the next 14 months he covered over 10,000 miles.
The only problems he had with the bike was the rear shock failed after 10 months but promptly replaced under warranty and poor welding on the original silencer but that got binned for a lovely sounding Micron end can.
The VFR was used in all weathers and stood up to the best that a British winter could throw at it.
Hank replaced all the brake pads after 8,500 miles with EBC Double HH pads.
Tyre life was only around 1,500 but Hank rides very hard, so tyre life in the Mr Hank household is measured in weeks or days!, Most normal riders should expect about 3-6,000 miles from a rear tyre.
