With 2020 basically being a write-off, in more ways than one due to a myopic car driver failing to stop at a give way and writing off my Kawasaki Versys 1000 and nearly me in the process, bike riding has been dramatically reduced due to my injuries.
I decided that it’s time to start 2021 in a positive way and hopefully, as I recover I will be able to do more miles on my Triumph Tiger Explorer and in an attempt to get me back out on the bike and to give me some additional motivation I decided to take part in The Motorbike Forum UK Challenge 100.
The challenge consists of firstly getting your rally number (mine for this year is 404) and then you check a map that they provide to see all of the locations that you can visit, here you need to take a picture of yourself or your bike outside the location with your rally number in the picture (to prove it was you there).
You earn 10 points per tag with an additional 50-point bonus for completed regions.
There are also 2 additional bonus rounds as well this year:
Petrol Stations BP Shell Esso Jet Asda Tesco Morrisons Texaco Sainsbury’s Applegreen OR Harvest Energy |
Pubs Seven Stars Phoenix Halfway House Unicorn Miners Arms Duke of Wellington Pheasant Spread Eagle Bird In Hand Five Bells |
