The B4246 from Blaenavon to Abergavenny is only around 6 miles long but as you come out of Blaenavon the road winds uphill, before a great view of the Black Mountains unfolds in the distance. From here, it’s a sharp descent through woodland and some crazy hairpins before arriving at the outskirts of Abergavenny.
