Simply start from Newtown and follow the signposts for the A483 towards Llandrindod Wells. From here you’ve got over 23 miles of what could be one of the best motorcycle roads in the whole country.
When you reach the island at the junction with the A44, you can turn left and stop for a cuppa at Crossgates Café, or carry on down the A483 into Llandrindod Wells.
Why it’s worth a ride
Twenty-three miles is a serious amount of good road to string together in one go, and this stretch doesn’t let up. Whether you fancy a break at Crossgates or want to press on into Llandrindod Wells, it’s a route that delivers either way.
