Bob and Bonzo both had a free weekend so they decided to explore Scotland and bag the 6 Grim Riders Battlefields Ride locations at the same time.

After a very early start on a Friday morning they headed up the M6 a bagging the Battle of Solway Moss near Longtown in Cumbria they then continued North to the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, in Stirling before stopping for the night the Loch Leven Hotel on the shore Loch Leven for some amazing food and excellent Guinness.

The following morning they headed up to the Scottish Highlands and got their evidence photos of both the Battle of Glen Shiel and the Battle of Culloden before heading for another night’s stay at the Lauderdale Hotel near Edinburgh.

In the morning, after a refreshing Scottish breakfast it was time to start heading downhill and towards home but not before they stopped off at the site of the Battle of Flodden near Branxton, Northumberland before heading to Newcastle upon Tyne to visit the Angel of the North sculpture and then carrying on ‘downhill’ to Long Marston, North Yorkshire to bag the final photos of the Battle of Marston Moor.
