East? or West? That was the question of the day, should we head into Wales or go east towards Lincolnshire? After weighing up the pros and cons our bellies made the decision for us and told us to head for Wales and enjoy a breakfast at Dinky’s Dinah’s.

Well you know what they say about the best laid plans? They all go to crap! Heading along the A442 towards Bridgnorth Bonzo’s poor ikle tummy was complaining and we happened to go past a cafe that had 15 or so bikes parked outside, this is normally a sign of a biker friendly place so we turned around and headed back for breakfast sooner than planned.

Quatford Food Stop – is just outside Quatt on the A442, nearly opposite a Little Chef and is a proper greasy spoon type cafe so it was perfect for us then!

After our belly break we heading towards Bridgnorth and then Shrewsbury with our final destination being the Horseshoe Pass just outside Llangollen, the trip there was uneventful except a blooming large diversion around the A5 near Chirk.

When we arrived at the excellent Ponderosa Cafe at the top of the Horseshoe Pass and Bonzo quickly disappeared (as in almost ran) off to the toilets, it turns out it he had been needing to go to the toilet for quite some time and the bumpy roads around the Horseshoe Pass didn’t help matters!

After a warming cup of tea (and the compulsory slice of cake!) it was time to head for home.
